"Be alert, be present. I'm about to do something brand-new. It's bursting out! Don't you see it? There it is! I'm making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands."
- Isaiah 43:19 in The Message (MSG)
The Pleasant Valley Presbyterian Church in Brodheadsville has served the West End through worship and missions for 32 years. Now, local Presbyterian leaders are dreaming of a new way forward, and friends of many faiths are dreaming with us.
We’d love for you to join us at Dinner Church on Sunday nights in July and August at 5 p.m.
Over a family-friendly meal, we invite you to meet neighbors, make new friends, and reflect on what faith in action looks like in Brodheadsville. You know best the needs of your community, and together, we can meet those needs.
We don’t know what the ministry at the Pleasant Valley Presbyterian Church campus will ultimately look like, but no one will be excluded, and all ideas are welcome.
If you’re longing for a family-friendly worship experience shared over a meal… if you’re looking to create a welcoming, inclusive community in the West End… if you’ve been hoping for a space where diverse faiths, justice, and neighbors come together — we hope you’ll consider joining us. God is doing something new here, and your voice matters in the conversation.
Come, eat, drink, and explore with us!
